The global economy is booming
The United Nations expects the global economy to grow 5.3 percent this year.
The global economy is set to rebound this year with an estimated growth rate of 5.3%, the highest in nearly five decades, thanks to aggressive measures taken by countries and the successful roll-out of COVID-19 vaccination in developed economies, according to the trade and Development Report 2021 released by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.
German electronics and electrical industry exports increased year on year.
The latest figures from the German Electrical and Electronics Industry Association show that the industry exported 17.6 billion euros in August, up 14.2 percent from a year earlier. Of that, the sector exported €2.1bn to China in the month, up 11.1 per cent from a year earlier.
China's export e-commerce has achieved rapid growth.
According to the latest research released by Nielsen IQ, since the beginning of 2020, both traditional foreign trade and the real economy have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, while China's export e-commerce has bucked the trend and achieved a rapid growth of over 20% thanks to its high flexibility.
